The Traineeship lasts up to a maximum of 6 months. Attendance is no more than 30 hours per week.

This is unpaid however you can apply for a bursary to help with travel
costs.

19+ can access Discretionary Learner Support Fund
some employers may pay expenses

| Duties: |
Shipley College currently have traineeships in the following vocational areas: Business, Accounts, Administration, Childcare, Customer Service, Floristry, Gardening, Health & Social Care, Leisure, Sport, Travel & Tourism
When on a traineeship you will:
* Undertake a work placement
* Improve your Maths and English Skills
* Improve your Employability skills (CV writing, interview skills and team working )
Duties undertaken will depend on choice of vocational area

| Qualifications & Training: |
You will gain vital work experience skills needed for your CV and also work towards a Level 1 / 2 Qualification
|
| Requirements: |
You should be aged between 16 and 24 and motivated, but not quite ready for a job or apprenticeship perhaps because you lack work experience.
You should be qualified BELOW a "Full level 3" qualification (this is equivalent to two A Levels, four AS Levels, an NVQ 3, or similar)

You should be able to progress into employment or an apprenticeship within the six months duration
