Are you aged 16-24 and are out of work?  Has the pandemic made things harder for you to find opportunities?  We realise that the impact of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 has been particularly challenging for young adults.

As a result, Bradford District has set out a commitment to young adults in the district to connect them to work and opportunities, and to offer support.  This exciting youth offer is called Future Boost and consists of a number of activities and programmes all targeted at support for young adults aged 16-24.

Kickstart
Up to 2000 work paid work placements in all areas of work. Each lasts 6 months and are 25 hours per week, leaving time to take advantage of the other activities available.  For details of current available placements, click HERE

Online mentoring and career support from people in business, which can help you to consider your options and find work. For more info, click HERE

 

Work Experience
Do you want a work experience placement to develop your skills ready for the world of work?  The Future Boost Work Placement Programme is open to unemployed or vulnerable young people across the Bradford district aged 16-24 years.
We can organise a short work placement with a local employer, from a 2-3 day taster up to two weeks in a real work situation to develop your skills, offering you support along the way.  For more information, click HERE
