| Duties: |
Shaping Futures is free and aimed at 16 to 25 years olds wanting a first step into employment, education or training.
Participants will learn about environmental upcycling and work towards transforming an outdoor space into a sensory garden. (They do not need any previous experience of working outdoors but, because of the nature of the space and work, they do need to be able to walk, climb slopes and stairs and take part in physical activity such as planting and digging).
Attendance will be one day a week for up to 3 months (depending on when they start) and at the end of the project we will support them in progressing onto further training or employment.

| Qualifications & Training: |
Throughout the programme we will offer participants the chance to:
· Develop confidence
· Be creative and learn about upcycling
· Experience team work
· Experience the outdoors
· Work towards a qualification
· Think about / progress into future plans |
| Requirements: |
To be eligible young people need to:
· be NEET,
· be aged between 16 and 25
· be available on a Thursday
· be willing to commit to attend regularly
· have a reasonable chance of progressing onto another employment or training opportunity.
· be able to undertake work outdoors in all weathers |
| Additional Information: |
We also ask participants to bring their own refreshments such as a drink and snack as we cannot currently provide this. Participants will be required to wear a mask for indoor spaces. We will provide hand sanitiser and will strive to abide by all Government recommendations and health and safety precautions as applicable
