Location: Bradford, BD1
 
Hours: Monday - Friday, 2 days 9.30am - 3.30pm and 2 days 10.30am - 3.30pm  
 
Pay: Travel expenses and lunches covered, there is also a bursary for those who are eligible.
 
Duties:

1) Sport (levels 2 or 3) with maths and English as per conditions of funding up to GCSE. Our entry requirements for level 3 sport are nowhere near as strict as colleges.

 

2) Business (level 2 and 3) with Maths and English as per conditions of funding up to GCSE

 

3) Work experience- this is for young people who only really want to do maths and English qualifications. However as per conditions of funding maths and English are not allowed to be main aims. So what we ask for is that a young person makes initial links for a work experience/volunteering opportunity (at least 1 full day a week) and then we will sign them up to programme once health and safety paperwork has been done with the employer. (turn around no more than a week as long as the employer is on board)

 

All three of these are ESFA study programme and eligible for bursary 16-18.



Learning is by taught lessons and from an actual work placement 
 
Qualifications & Training: * Will work towards a Level 1 and 2 Qualification in your chosen area.
* Functional Skills at Level 1 and 2 in Maths and English or
* GCSE Maths and English

 
Requirements:  There are no entry requirements 
 
Additional Information: Support is provided to help you make "the next step" whether that be employment, further training , college or apprenticeships.
